A graduate of College of Technology in Houston, Corey L. Chambers, R.D.T., has over 30 years experience as a dental technician. He received his R.D.T. In 1980 and has taken part in various education programs, marketing, management, clinical and technical activities. Mr. Chambers also got training in France, England, and Germany.
He is the author of numerous articles in Dental News, Dental Economics, Dentaltown Magazine,and Dentistry Today. He also co-publishes the Journal of the American Dental Association.
Mr. Chambers has received awards for conducting dental training courses. He shared his skills in dentistry to dentists, dental technologists and dental students across the country. He is also a Canadian Dental Association. Currently, Mr. Chambers serves as president of Altima Dental, a member of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada.
In 1998, Mr. Chambers acted as Vice President for the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. Since 2000-2005, he served as Chair of the Complaints Committee. In 2006, he returned to the University of Toronto, and in 2008 served as President of the College.
Dr. Heather Dawn Carr is a seasoned dentist and influential leader with over 35 years of experience. A partner at Atlantic Dental Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, since 1988, she has dedicated her career to providing comprehensive general and family dental care. Her leadership in organized dentistry is equally remarkable, highlighted by her tenure with the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), where she has served as Immediate Past President, President, President-Elect, and Vice President of the Board of Directors. A graduate of Dalhousie Dental School, Dr. Carr earned her DDS with honors, receiving the University Medal and the prestigious Golden D award. Her contributions to the profession have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Dr. Philip S. Christie Award for Distinguished Service from the Nova Scotia Dental Association, as well as fellowships from the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Carr has dedicated her time to volunteer leadership roles, including serving as President of the Nova Scotia Dental Association and contributing to various committees and community organizations. Her passion for advancing oral health care and her dedication to the dental profession have made her a respected figure in both her practice and the broader dental community.
Dr. Sydney Cormier is a dedicated general dentist who graduated from the Schulich School of Dentistry at Western University. With a deep commitment to patient care, Dr. Cormier focuses on building strong, trusting relationships and creating a positive experience for every patient. Dr. Abhijit Patil is a skilled and accomplished dental professional with a robust background in clinical practice, implantology, and healthcare education. A member of International Dentists Canada (IDC), Dr. Patil is also an accredited speaker with the Maharashtra State Dental Council and a recognized participant in global dental and healthcare initiatives. He also volunteered as a dentist at the Vadodara District Central Jail, providing comprehensive oral health care, including restorative treatments, prosthesis fabrication, and minor oral surgery.
